Hello friends of the furry kind and the non furry too.
I am not feeling well. Today is day 2 of not being able to eat. My human called my vet doctor but they can’t see me until the week after next for a regular appointment. They will see me if it is an emergency but right now it doesn’t seem to be one.
I am hungry and want to eat but just can’t hold any solid food in. It comes right back up within ten minutes of eating it.
My human switched me to a diet of kitty milk and that I can hold. And water too.
Let me tell you, it’s not fun. My tummy aches. I don’t feel like playing or blogging or anything at all. All I want is to cuddle with my human.
So please forgive me if I don’t check your blogs like I used to. Or write anything in the next couple of days.
I’ll keep you posted or ask my human to do so if I’m too weak to use the laptop.

Meow, oh I’m so sorry to hear this Jazz Cat Jay! Don’t worry, if you don’t get better on your own the doctor will know what to do (busy place). I hope you don’t go too long without eating. Catnip stimulates my appetite but doesn’t work for all cats or if there is something else wrong. Man I love that stuff, can’t get enough! My human and I will be thinking of you. Please keep us updated. Good luck!

Hiya Jay. Savvy here your furriend. Purlease DON’T wait on vet…..go to emergency NOW. Always a concern when any cat doesn’t eat for two or more daysAND upchucks. That causes dehydration. I luv ya my manly feline and wanna see ya feeling like yourself real soon. Purlease get checked, don’t wait a week. Have the peeps make sure your gums are pink, if grayish then dehydration is a possible cause. great big paw pats comin your way right now, Savvy

I agree with Savvy, don’t wait to go to the vet, because not eating is a big deal. But hopefully it’s something very easily treated. Feel better, little buddy!

Oh poor JCJ – hope it’s just one of the one-day(ish)-wonders you poor chaps suffer. Never get to the bottom of them and then you’re fine. Horrid at the time. If you’re not better now then seriously, you should go to the vet. Know you don’t want to but a boy’s got to do etc…

Oh my goodness I’m so sorry you’re not feeling well – I can tell from your picture that you’re one sick guy. We’re all very worried about you and hope your human will take you to emergency to make sure it’s nothing serious! Mom and I are going to keep you in our prayers and hope you’re right as rain VERY soon. I know hugs aren’t the same as medicine but they DO feel good so I’m sending a BIG SAMMY HUG.

Awww Jay, sorry to read that. I’m sending tons of purrs your way. But don’t wait for the vet! Milou recently felt like you and he wouldn’t eat and barely drank. The vet was concerned. They found the problem, which wasn’t too serious but the vet visit was a must.
Also Milou’s human had Milou’s dry food sunk in water. The humans call it porridge (?!) for some reason. Anyway, Milou liked it. Also it keeps him hydrated.
