The human and I donated. Do you have a few Dollars/Euros to spare?
From Ninelives Greece:
This is an urgent appeal to all angels out there!
We have two adorable kittens, Batman and Robin, who were rescued from the streets of Athens with such severe injuries to their forelegs that each will require an amputation. We believe that Batman had been recently abandoned (he appeared in an area where we know and have neutered the resident cats) and was seen by an eyewitness approaching a group of people to twine around their legs, hoping for a stroke. Instead, they shooed him away, into the road and straight into the path of an oncoming car. The witness rushed him to the vet, but irreparable damage had been done. Robin, meanwhile, was spotted by a Nine Lives volunteer dragging himself between cars on busy Omonia Square, bent double over a painfully crooked foreleg.
We have consulted veterinarians in Athens, the US and the UK, including the Bionic Vet in the UK who has pioneered amazing procedures to save limbs. Sadly, Batman’s and Robin’s injuries are too profound and amputation is the only way to save their lives.
Would you be an angel and help us to fund their surgeries and subsequent transportation expenses to a new home in the UK? Batman and Robin are loving and playful and don’t have a clue that there’s anything wrong with them but they are depending on your kindness and generosity to help give them the opportunity to start their new lives once they have recovered and completed their rehabilitation.
Even if you can only give a little, it will help a lot. These dear souls deserve a rich, full life. Let’s get them back in their Batmobile so they can save the world with their love.

We would have donated just the same because Batman & Robin need us, but my human was specially touched because they look so much like Sam & Toby, her Colombian cats.
