I’ve recently shared the last update on the story of Claudia the Cat.
Now it’s time to make a difference for another little darling. Meet Mini. Please, please SHARE and donate if you can. We already did. Every dollar counts. Even if all you can spare is $1. Imagine if all of us donate $1 today. Can we get a thousand people donating one dollar? I know times are tight for everyone. I understand, even if I am a cat and not a human.

She has to be ; surviving in the big metropolitan city with only your bare minimum needs met is not an easy task when you channel most of your energy into protecting your baby.
It is not always possible though.

Often , if it is not a car that takes your most precious away , it is the human cruelty.

So I can finally use the laptop.  Jeez, it’s getting difficult to get laptop time around here!

Hope your summer has been good.  I missed you all and I’ll try to catch up with your lovely blogs as soon as possible.  I can only imagine the adventures you’ve been having.

The kid’s getting really big and she’s starting to settle down a bit.  She’s coming to visit on a regular basis and she even stays overnight sometimes so we’re happy.  She even came to stay with me when the human was gone so I wouldn’t be so lonely.

Don’t get me wrong, she’s still crazy as heck.  But at least she’s starting to take longer naps so we can actually have a snooze together.  She’s also leaving my tail alone.  Well, most of the time.  Yesterday I was napping in my tent when she decided it was time to play and jumped on top of the tent to wake me up.  I wasn’t impressed.

She’s here with us today and the human this picture of her.  She was playing with my human sister and all of a sudden she decided she wanted to be a monkey!

Yes! Traveller and her kittens have a forever home!
We are SO happy. This is awesome news!

I wanted to let everyone know that Traveller the cat and her 3 kittens have all been lovingly adopted and the best part is, they left in pairs. (See post 7/11/12 Three Little Kittens)

Traveller and Joan of Arc now live with a lovely set of parents in Queens  while Sonny and Cher went to another young couple whose lives revolve around music. I can just see all 4 of them harmonizing their own rendition of ‘I Got You Babe.’                             I’m especially thrilled for Traveller since now she knows her little family are all beneath safe and warm roofs and she even gets to live with the one she was most concerned about.  How great is that and so Italian. If you remember, Joan of Arc was a bit of a rebel causing her mother constant anxiety. I’m glad to report she’s become a little more docile in…

What’s new, pussycat?

Well, friends, my human brother is gone.

He left earlier than expected and my human is sad about that.  And when my human is sad, I am sad so I’m making sure I give her more cuddles and purrs than usual.

Other than that, not much else is new.

Except that the kid is now freely “wunning” like a mad kitten all over the place all the time. Sure, we had a lot of fun running over the humans the other night. That took me back to days of yore when I was a kitten myself.

But then she wants to chase my tail every time I go for my daily constitutional so every now and then I give her a good old fashioned hiss for good measure. I mean, the kid needs to learn to respect her elders, right?

You know, the brave little kitten who lost her battle with panleukemia?

Well, we all know she’s happy playing with many friends at the rainbow bridge but her human is still stuck with the vet bill.

You can see pictures of the invoice on the Cats of Parliament Hill Facebook group.

They have raised $1070 so far (I know some of you donated already!! <3) so if you can help a little, that’d be great.  Perhaps your financial situation is better this month?  My human already donated.  We would donate more but as you know, we’re saving for my tooth extraction.
