All hail the Purrmeister General!
Jazz Cat Jay is Ottawa’s ambassador of Jazz and of hepcats everywhere. Trained not only in the fine art of litter box use and not falling from high places, this swingin’ tabby has an ear for Early Jazz music, from Ragtime to Big Band to Hot Jazz and all styles in between. In between his many cat naps, he enjoys tapping his paws to the beat of the high hat and the wail of the horns.
While he may be the dandiest of the world’s great Jazz lovers, he also enjoys hanging with his pals Spartacat, PJ, and Frankie, and giving his human cuddles – when he’s in the mood, which is pretty much always. Being the feline philosopher he is, you can see him every day spending time gazing out the window on to the environs of downtown Ottawa, pondering deep cat thoughts like ‘where do we come from?’, ‘who am I?’, and ‘LOOK! LOOK! SQUIRREL!’. But it isn’t long before his thoughts turn back to Jazz and he’s once again blogging you what he knows you love to hear!
He’s hip!
He’s wow!
He’s now!
He is…Jazz Cat Jay!
JazzCat, so nice to meet you, you are one cool cat! You just signed up for The Creative Cat, but I’ve just moved the site to a new address. Click on over to http://www.thecreativecat.net and sign up there. Thanks!
Yes, I did notice and actually went to take a look at it (pretty snazzy, btw) but then my human wanted the laptop so I had to sign out. Silly human
Jazz Cat Jay,
I like the Lounge Lizards, John Coltrane, Matthew Shipp and Keith Jarrett, among others. Can we be friends?
Le Clown
Absolutely!
This cat doesn’t discriminate. Meow
I am so moving in here!
Woot woot!
Cool cats are always welcome
Meow ♥
You’re so smart, fun and thoughtful. Are you sure you’re not a cat?
Meay! I have cat eyes and whiskers, I’ve tried for years to grow a tail, but so far not really successful. My fur is soft and catish, my paws are rosy and I like fish >ö<
Ah, growing a tail is tough business. Sorry my friend. But it sounds like you are beautiful, anyway
You sound like my friend Manx. Meow! He says I’m silly, that I don’t really need a tail, that tails are only for show off and that I’m perfectly beautiful without a tail. Meow, I’m so happy to be living here >ö<
Well, let me tell you. Manx is very wise. You are perfect the way you are! MEOW
